Windows Blinds Problems

No date-time, and No text in popup windows

Hi, since last year I have had problems with windows blinds, specifically since the second big windows 10 update launched, the autumn one. Simply most of the themes show no text in popup windows, and the time/date doesn't show in the taskbar. Windowsblinds hasn't had an update in a long time and I have already seen posts regarding this problem, which the developers doesn't seem to care about. Before you state the same response everyone gets... YES, I already uninstalled and reinstalled using the purge batch provided here, I made sure to restart a couple of times and have my system completely clean before giving windowsblinds another go.... Its simply a software's problem..

The only theme that doesn't have any trouble is Win8Metro, most of the rest (Echo, Ice, The Captain, Eva) have both the popup windows problem, the time/date one, or both.

I also have start 10 and Ice also makes part of the text in start 10 black, which is annoying.

Right now I have Windows 10 Home Single Language, Version 1709 Build 16299.248.

If it were systemic within the app, more would see it - they are not.  That is not to say that some combination of a setting / app conflicts with WB, and may be something we need to alter WB to account for (if possible).  However, WB should not be convicted on the evidence that you have presented alone.

Does this mean that this is a fresh install of Win10, all the updates installed (MS and video drivers), WB installed, and absolutely nothing else?

Unfortunately Ive see a couple of forums where the same problems were discussed and I did not see a proper answer to them, as of now Ive found about 3 regarding time and date, but cannot longer find the one related to the popup windows, which as far as I remember, its last response was to ask for a support ticket, and no further responses where done, besides the problems described I also have the chrome skinning problem. By a clean system I mean no startup software besides Windowsblinds, Fences, and Start 10. And no fast bootup from windows 10. In any case, thanks for your time helping.

And again, under the new account, and under the clean boot conditions, only a stock WB skin to start.

Unfortunately, I was met with the same problems in a new account by applying Ice, Eva, and Echo.... Win8Metro works just fine.
