WindowBlinds10 v 10.6 with windows 10 home 64 bit not skinning

Hi All, ive been using windowblinds on and off for years, never had any real issues with it until windows 10 creators update, at first I just got the black screen with no interactivity even when pulling up taskmanager, updated to 10.6 and now the colours from the theme apply to the windows but not the icons/buttons ie close maximise etc, tried rebooting various uninstall reinstall even put windows inTest mode to allow running of unsigned code and apps but still no joy, occasionally on a reboot I get the themes window borders to load up just after I log on but when this happens I get it crashing and  ended up having to do a reboot. its strange skin studio works fine and so do all the other stardock apps I have as part of object desktop, just not the winowblinds part anyone else experienced this and if so any help sorting it would be really appreciated.
