Multiplicity disconnects from primary PC

Hi all!

I have Multiplicity3 KVM (licensed) running on a desktop PC (Primary) and a laptop (Secondary). I have them both connected to the same network via cables, although the same problem occurs when using wireless on the laptop.

What happens is I'll start both computers, and when I do anything on the secondary using the primary mouse that takes some time,  the mouse pointer remains on the secondary without being able to come back to the primary. If I unload Multiplicity on the secondary, the pointer will then return to the primary after a fairly short delay, but then I have to use the laptop's touchpad to start Multiplicity up again. And then, if I spend any time on the secondary only, the same thing happens again.

This is a fairly recent problem. I am running Win10 x64 on both machines, Pro on the laptop and Home on the desktop. Both are up to date on MS updates, and I'm wondering if one of the recent MS updates may have caused this, or if there's a setting in Multiplicity that may need to be reset to avoid this.

Thanks for any help you may give. It's not a deal breaker (I do like the software), but it is kinda irksome at times :-)

TIA!!

Thanks for your reply!

With "Wrap around the grid" enabled, the cursor will return from the right side of my primary monitor, but not from the left (primary is on the right, secondary on the left. It's set up that way in the lay-out grid also). That's an improvement over not being able to return at all, but still not correct.

I set up a hotkey that will return the cursor to the center of my primary screen. I'll let you know how that works the next time it locks up.

Thanks!
