Managing multiple displays

Activate or deactivate Fences on a per-display basis

I have three displays on my workstation. A Dell wide-screen in the middle and two vertical Samsung on each side.

It appears that Fences does not play well with my DELL Ultrasharp 3880x1440 display and/or Adobe CC apps.

Is there any way to enable Fences only on my "outside" two displays?

Also, does anyone know how to control where new desktop items are placed?

It seems random for me.

No but you could put your Fences on only those displace and set up rules to have them go there.

Unfortunately, that doesn't disable the "desktop" overlay that controls the icon placement.

My widescreen HD monitor video drivers just don't like Fences and Adobe's CUDA rendering engine.

When Fences is on, I get lots of crashes and lock-ups and the logs indicate video driver is the cause.

When Fences is off, I have no problems. :-(
