Task-Bar now transparent.......

Hi folks |-)

I had a load of Windows 10 updates yesterday, after which my task-bar has now turned totally transparent.  The icons etc. are still visible, but not the bar itself.  I tried changing to other skins, but the problem remains.  I also tried the usual 'Disable transparency effects' from the Win-10 Personalise->Colours settings, but to no avail :(

I'm using the Windows Blinds V.10.65 and Win 10 Home-Premium (fully updated), disabling Win-Blinds returns the task-bar to normal, but as soon as I enable it to make the display tolerable (using the 'RealWood Win 10' skin), the bar becomes transparent again, no matter what skin I select.

Fingers are now crossed for a positive result..... :)

Just a suggestion. When I have an update that appears to be major I load the Windowblind "default skin" I have had no such problems.

Not saying this is the solution for you just something next time you may want to think about or try. I do know if you want to uninstall WB and install it you should always change it to the default skin first just to be safe.

Uninstall WindowBlinds, Reboot (critical) and then download and install the latest version of WindowBlinds.

Solved?

Hi again folks |-)

I tried reverting back to the default look then uninstalled WB, rebooted and re-installed WB, then tried some skins again.  Nothing worked as the task-bar is still transparent.

So, my next step will be to contact Stardock support and see what they suggest.

Many thanks for the suggestions guys :-)

Default skin, uninstall, reboot, install, login, don’t apply a skin, reboot.
