Went and bought a new Steam card today fully intending to take advantage of War Thunder's yearly special on their premium subscription. Just as I was about to do the deal, I hesitated. There, on the Staem storefront, was a blurb about Star Control.

A good, long minute goes by before I finally say "screw it...it's Stardock. It'll be good."

So add me to the list of Star Controllers. The funny thing is I have never played any of the SC games. I'm an old school gamer, too, from the mid-80s. So there's more than one leap of faith going on here. The adventure game genre has never been a big draw for me (not that I don't love a good, immersive story). I like my sandboxes. That said, the lore is strong with this one and if anybody can pull off a solid reboot, it's Stardock.
