Can anyone tell me where to change the text color for the command bar? I currently have a light color with light color text and it is very hard to read.
That is not the Command Bar, that is the Search Box text color that you want to change. You have to change it in SkinStudio. Go to Theme part details, Command Bars, Search field background and select the Extra Settings tab, you can change the color there. 
Is that one of my skins, on Windows 10? If so let me know so I can fix it, thanks.

I changed it there already but it seems to have no effect. Search box text became black but not the area where the folder path gets displayed.
It is one of your skins (The Library). I bought it this morning...Customizing it a bit to make it a bit lighter for my 12+ hours a day sitting in front of the computer 
Are you using Windows 7, 8, or 10? If that is The Library, then who changed the Search Field image? That is not the image I put into the skin.
The only other thing you might try is changing the Button Text color in Change skin colours, then use the dropdown to select the Show me the skin defined system colours area. Change the Button Text color there.
On Win10 (without "Old New Explorer") it's Controls/Toolbars/Normal Toolbars/Button [Text]tab. That'll probably get used somewhere else, so if you've flipped light/dark it'll probably cause a problem.
Oh yeah, the toolbar buttons text colors, thanks Dave! Been a long day and I forgot about those.
I had to sit here and test it two or three times to convince myself I actually had it written down right. 
I am using Windows 10 with the latest updates and "Old New Explorer". Figured out where it was..
Controls/Toolbars/Normal Toolbars/Button (6 state) [Text]tab.

Now using "The Library" (slightly modified by me for my daily use until LightStar releases the next skin)!
