Fences Pro v1.10

Exclude pictogram from quick-hide not working

I have a bug in my Fences Pro application. The option "exclude this pictogram (icon) from quick-hide" isn't working anymore. I have about 11 icons that remain visible at quick-hide, but can't add any more. If I delete one I can't add a new one either, and I remain with 10 instead of 11. So it has nothing tot do with too much icons that remain visible after quick-hide.

Please help.

Firstly, Fences Pro is way outdated. Now it's just fences and the version number is 3.0.5.3. I'd suggest an updated version.

Seriously ? When I click somewhere in the program to check if I have the latest version it still says I have. Should I just install some new free version and again upgrade to the Pro version of 3.0.5.3 ? And of course pay again for that new Pro version ?

I think I'd better file a support ticket and see if they can fix it unless someone here can help me in a different way.

It's checking to see if you have the latest version of v1.0. As was said, that is an extremely outdated version and is no longer supported.

Should maybe check it again, but I guess I bought it some 2-3 years ago. I recall long ago I got invitations for a Fences 2 version, but it didn't seem to have more options that I could put to use.

And aside from that there was also a new price tag that came along with that Fences 2 version.

Can you resume in short what this v3.053 can do that my v1.1 Pro can't ?

Thanks.

Your program is at least 4 years old. Fences 2 came out I believe in early 2013. Fences version is now up to 3.05.

If you are on Win 10 you need to upgrade.

There is no new Pro version. As I said in reply #1, It is now just Fences. There's no Pro.

You got free updates through version 1.9xx. Version 2 and up would be an upgrade.

When you buy a standalone version, you get free updates up to the next version number. Version 3 would be a paid upgrade. Possibly at a discount, since you did purchase Version 1.

I guess I'll have to upgrade to v3. Will inform about a discount though. And there's always the question of the necessity to uninstall the previous version b4.
