Problem with taskbar colors

I installed the trials of Windowblinds and Star10 last night, and so far I'm very impressed with it.  I will most likely be purchasing them at the end of the trial period.

 

I'm having one minor issue though -- the colors on the taskbar aren't coming up properly.  It was fine when I first installed it, but after I had to reboot, the taskbar was coming up clear, except for the "Show hidden tasks" button and the button on the far right for showing the desktop. 

I'm using the Win8 theme with transparency enabled.  I have screen shots, but I don't see a way to attach them.

You need to have an image host to post images here. I would suggest Dropbox or OneDrive.

That's why you are having a situation. disable or turn down the transparency. Re-apply the skin and check it out. Should not have to reboot and only have to hit the apply when you make changes in WindowBlinds.

Note in some of the other skins transparency may or may not work. Figure this out and make your purchase of the 2 products as you will love changing things around. 

Suggestion if you want to make the Explorer window look just like win 7 check out the program oldnewexplorer. Yes it's one word and free. Put it in Google search to check it out.

When I said "clear", I meant no color.  According to the sample, it should have been a transparent blue.  Anyway, it's happening with all the styles, even ones that I haven't turned on the transparency or changed in any way.  The only way that it doesn't do that is if I change it to the default theme, or unload Windowblinds.

Before you give up I would suggest you send in a support ticket. You will receive an auto reply letting you know it was received. Do not send in another ticket as you will be put back on the bottom of the cue.

Even include a link to this thread so they can read what took place.

Neil, 

Seeing it on my unsupported release, suspect he is fast or slow ring too. The taskbar is transparent regardless of transparency settings, start 10, or default start menu.
