Can't get Start 10 Menu

I cannot get the Start 10 menu to display.  I know something about it is working, because in the Start 10 setup, I changed the icon to your "Triangle", and that change was made.  But it still shows the new Windows 10 Start button menu, not the Start 10 menu I prefer.  

I do have the Windows 10 Creator update installed, but I don't think that is the cause because I'm pretty sure this started before that update was installed.  

I believe it happened when a Lenovo Tech logged on remotely to help resolve a problem with a Lenovo driver.  While watching him working on that issue, I could see that he didn't like my Start 10 menu & I know he made some change that caused the the Windows menu to display instead.  I assumed it would just go back to normal after a reboot, but it didn't.  

What might he have changed and how can I change it back?

Thank you.  I did so.  The menu looks the same (most like #3) 

I tried to print a screenshot, but I couldn't figure out how to do so. 

What next?
