Problem resizing fences

Recently, I've been having problems resizing Fences in Windows 10.  

I don't know whether this is due to the Creator update or if it started when I updated to Fences 3.04.  Hoping it was the latter and that it's been addressed, I downloaded & installed the 3.05 beta.  But that didn't make any difference.

Here's what's happening:  In the past, I could resize any Fence by just moving its borders.  That doesn't seem to work anymore.  Now, when I put the cursor on a border, I do see the double-headed arrow, then I click & hold as I move the mouse.  But the edge of the Fence doesn't move as it used to and, instead, the cursor changes back to a big arrow as it moves off of that border.  It's as if the cursor can't "capture" or "grab" those borders anymore.  

So now I can't widen/narrow or lengthen/shorten my Fences.  

Any suggestions?
