Hi,

Can you please tell me why Fences periodically makes connections to dl.dropbox.com? The only other traffic that I've noticed is to activate.api.stardock.net during the update check.

There is a text file temporarily on dropbox that allows Stardock to enable bug tracking (as long as the user also enables via a reg key).

Thanks for your reply. It would be nice to have an option to disable this feature entirely so that Fences doesn't constantly attempt to connect here.

How are we to know if any folders or files connecting to dropbox aren't transfered?

I'm somewhat out of the loop . . . but . .
None of your files are sent to DropBox.
Fences looks to a file on dropbox and, if certain text strings are in place, debug mode can be enabled (as long as it is also enabled on your local PC).
