Sddisplay.exe is triggering a Norton virus alert and gets quarantined. Therefore, Window blinds and icon packager are not functioning. This happened after updating windowblinds to latest version. Is this a known issue?
It sounds like Norton have yet another false positive.
Unfortunately the AV companies tend to do this and suffer no consequences for false claims.
My recommendation would be to dump Norton when your renewal comes up and switch to something like the default AV protection the computer already comes with. Suffers way less false positives.
Which Norton product are you using.?
I had the same thing happen on an initial installation today. Norton Internet Security 29.9.3.13 on Windows 10.
