GalCiv III Crusade qustion

Planet specialisations

Hi all,

I just upgraded to Crusade from Vanilla GalCiv III but I'm having trouble with the planet specialistions. In Vanilla, once a planet has been fully developed, you can order a specialisation to continue planet "development". In Crusade, on fully developed planets, I can't assign a specialisation. They aren't anywhere in the planet governance, or development tab that I can see.

Can someone please tell me how to get these happening? It's painful having to destroy a building and rebuild it just so I can progress my turn.

Cheers,

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question, but with Crusade each planet can build "projects", each of which can do things like return some research points, train a legion, recruit a citizen, etc.  Have you tried those?

Thanks for the reply. What I'm referring to is the projects at the bottom of the projects queue in the below screenshot. How do I get those in Crusade? Or are they referred to as "build projects" now?

Thanks.

They changed how it works a bit. They are now projects with a time to complete so do not look for the usual N/A tag. Instead look for keywords like ''Aid research''

Thanks again for replying. I get what EvilMax is saying, but here is a screenshot of my planet queue for a developed planet. There's no option to do a project. How do I get access to them? Is it via research? Or a certain structure?

The projects are always at the end of the "Available Actions" list that is not to be seen on your screenshot.

You need to research certain techs to make certain projects available.

Projects are dead. Actions are alive.

I think I know what the problem is.  You are playing a campaing right ?

I tried a terran campaign and sure the projects were not there, I think it is a bug. They are there when you start a ''Normal'' game though. Also, check your population on that screenshot, 0/0. That is another game breaking bug in the campaign.

Yes, we play sandbox, campaigns are broken in Crusade.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Makes sense now.

I'll rollback until Crusade is patched!
