start button greyed out

So I have been playing this game with no issues until now. After I launch the game from steam now, I go to a stardock page. Usually I could just hit start there in the galciv 3 tab and the game would launch. Now that button is greyed out for no apparent reason. 

Any Ideas why this button would go grey and not allow me to press it to launch the game anymore

Sorry you are having issues.

Try verifying the game:

If that fails, in:

\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III

Are any / none of these files present?

GC3Base.exe

GalCiv3.exe

GC3Crusade.exe

If any are missing (we will need to know what ones in the end),  disable your antivirus software then verify the game again. Do any missing files then show?
