New Achievements and New Campaign?

The patch installed fine, and the game loads with the new Crusade title screen, so I ASSUME everything is in order, but i don't see the new campaign (wasn't it supposed to continue the story) in the main menu, nor is steam registering new achievements?  Is this supposed to be the case? Has it happened to anyone else?

We decided not to do a campaign for Crusade.  However, we are still planning on doing more in the future.  Achievements will be available post-release.

Thank you for your prompt response. I look forward to a new campaign incorporating the new changes (and while I can see that the massive changes and the need to release forced design decisions, I do think the story deserves an end, especially considering the description on the site).  Cheers!

ok no campaign for a exspansion that big but is supposed to continue the story , is it me or is that  totally wrong , a big  thing like this should have a campaign so very disappointed may as well called it minor dlc and add on meet the slyn

I personally do not consider this a great exspansion , even gal civ 2's add on had campaigns , real, real  let down  and a rip off  for a major exspansion

it just a normal dlc not worth the price you asking for it

You need to play it.    It is a complete mechanical redesign and it most definitely is a major expansion...

I would have preferred the game be delayed for one more month and include a campaign on release.  Had I known, I would have waited to buy the expansion.

technically  it has been sold under false expectations

it says join humanitys crusade , how can you join the crusade with no campaign , so yes actually they are deliberately misleading buyers  and I not sure but did they not promise a campaign  when they first announced it

Playing this game for the campaign is like playing Skyrim for the main menu.  Not saying they aren't well done and enjoyable( I quite enjoyed vanilla gc3 campaign) but it's not the focus.

regardless they use words join humanity's crusade this implies there is a campaign which breaks the trade and standard laws , which CLEARLY  state you can not put an advert or selling pitch which says  something or you can do something and when you buy it you can not this is a clear breaking of those laws

Ah, no -- you would have to engage in some serious mental gymnastics to get those words to fit your argument. Perhaps SD could have been bit clearer in the lead up, but your argument doesn't have legs.
