Short List of Issues

Heya, long time Fences user, and I've just dished out the 5 dollars to upgrade to Fences 3.0 since 2.0 was starting to behave a little erratically with the Windows 10 Creators Update. I've got a few issues with the behavior of the new version, although I don't know whether it's due to user error or changed / removed features.

#1: Folder Portal Icons

I've always hidden the settings & folder icons at the top left of the folder portals for the sake of cleanliness. I cant find this option anywhere anymore, and it's resulted in some of my folder portal titles being cut short. I also used this feature to keep my untitled portal from showing a label, since it has none. Some examples of what these issues look like in practice:

Note that I do want all of my folder portals to always be showing their titles, with the exception of the right one, which is untitled and holds my desktop icons.

#2: Column Spacing

The spacing between the columns in some of my folder portals are way too spaced out. For context:

I would very much appreciate the ability to tighten these columns, as they used to all sit neatly side-by-side and all fit into the folder portal without having to scroll between them.

#3: Folder Portal Size Restriction

Whenever I restore a snapshot or restart my computer, my smallest folder portals seem to snap to a larger size. For context (the same folder portals as above):

And they seem pretty adamant about staying that size:

I've found a pretty roundabout way of solving this issue, but it's pretty annoying. I change the view to classic icons, and then back to list view, which then allows me to resize the portal as I please.

And there we have it. As I've said before, I'm not certain whether any of these are user error, bugs or missing features from an older version. All I know is I'm having issues I never used to have, and that irks me quite a bit with a program designed to help customize and organize my desktop layout.

Thank you for reporting these.  We are looking into them.

Please note that Folder Portals will ALWAYS show labels

Also note that Windows is setting the spacing for your second item.  It will set the width to the longest string in the control.
