Upgraded from KM to KVM Pro, license question

I just upgraded my license from KM to KVM Pro. My question is this, are you only allowed to upgrade one of your machines from KM to KVM Pro. I tried it on both my desktop (using as secondary) and then on my laptop (primary). When I entered the key into my laptop to upgrade its license it said the key was already in use and asked if I wanted to use it and de-register my desktop. I did this and everything is working fine. I can stream my desktop to my laptop as I wanted. But ultimately my question is will I have to "move" my license around if I ever decide to make my desktop the primary or should I be able to use this license on up to 9 machines to make them KVM?

Only the primary computer needs to be activated.  The secondary computers do not need to be.

That answers my question thank you. I don't think I'll move the "primary" around too much but now I know I need to move the key.
