Desktop lagging and graphic driver update

Hello,

I am using Fences a LOT but I have 2 big problems with it.

First, it slows down my desktop a LOT. Everything is just lagging and it is unbearable. I have 10 fences across my 2 monitors and the slow down basically prevents me from working with desktop. Is it just me or is this common problem. I have i7 and GTX 970 so the performance should not be a problem.

Second every time I update my graphics driver all of my fences snaps to primary monitor and scale up. Is there any way to prevent fences from changing monitors or return them back to their positions?

Dude I'm having the same problem.

Alienware 15 R2

GTX 970m

16gb ddr4

i7 6700hq

The fences themselves are laggy more-so than the desktop itself, but still.

You should contact support as Fences should not be slowing down your desktop.

The snapping to one monitor is due to driver upgrade it forces fences to the primary monitor since the second monitor gets detected afterwards.
If this happens do not move the fences.
Go into the Taskmanager and restart windows-explorer.exe
Fences will be placed correctly afterwards:
Keep in mind that this is a driver update issue, rather than an issue with Fences itself.

About the laggy Fences when you move them:  I think this is due tracking the position but im not sure once placed they return to a responsive state.

Windows 10 has a Startup Delay for desktop apps same as win8.x
You can remove the delay and BAM everything will load much faster.
A Guide can be found here:

Only do this if you feel compftable changing stuff in regedit...!
