Windows 10 Creators Update / Fences 3.0.3 / TwoPC's
Well, I have to laugh at the new 'Windows Creators Update' name. The word arrogant pops into mind. This writeup is not a 'whine', and is intended to be informational only.
On one of my PC's, an old timer, no problems have been detected. Windows 10 Creators Update is incompatible with Fences 3x on my new Lenovo 910 ThinkStation).
PROBLEMS (with Fences installed)
1) The file manager screen itself, and folders, will not open to the desktop though they are present in the taskbar. They will not restore, move, or maximize. I used Firefox to see and use folder content.
2) On bootup, Fence icons are located at the top of the screen, while the fence groups titles are at the bottom of the screen where they should be. They did re-unite after I fiddled around a bit, but I don't know what I did, sorry? Nonetheless, folders still will not open the screen, but are open in the taskbar.
AFTER (uninstalling Fences)
The problems seem to have disappeared after uninstalling Fences. I tried a re-installation, but after reboot the issues returned.
I'm hoping the beta will be successful, and I'll keep watch here. Stardock can do no wrong - Best, Bob
