now it is running

Are you using something that might be altering how explorer works as the taskbar previews should not be painting with a black background with WB.

You are right, I was using classic shell...

Skin is not applied to task manager.

Then you got the answer. It's quite amazed people having "unconventional" programs running always look for blame on Stardock for solution.    

Skin should be applied to taskmanager.

How are you opening it?

Remember that holding down ctrl on opening an app excludes it so are you perhaps using a hotkey to open it that includes ctrl?

Regarding the taskbar previews, there may be a setting in classic shell to alter the taskbar, that is probably interfering with WindowBlinds.  This is not a problem if you use Stardock Start10 of course which is designed to work with WindowBlinds seamlessly.

Ctrl + Shift + Esc

Its easier to right click on the taskbar IMO.

Are you using a real machine or VMWare?

Real machine, of course.

Going to update/reinstall gpu driver.

I know if you have 'Transparency' Off in Settings, taskbar thumbnail previews don't show properly.

So it's not my pc, tried it on a diff system with a clean install of Windows and same...
