Fences on multiple monitors update backgrounds incorrectly

Hi

I'm running Fences 3.0.3 on a Dell XPS15 laptop with a fully up to date Windows 10. I also have a secondary monitor.

Wallpapers are set to a slideshow which means that each monitor changes its background image every few minutes, and the two wallpapers displayed at any moment are not the same.

Unfortunately fences positioned on either monitor always show the background of the most recent wallpaper change, which means that 50% of the time the fence backgrounds are those of the wrong monitor.

Hi

I had this issue running windows 10 virtual desktops and third party to set different background per desktop

What can work is disabling windows animation ( go to control panel > system and security > system > advanced system settings and performance

Try uncheck " animate windows when opening or maximizing"

Sorry I translate myself as my OS isn't in US

Hello,
Not really clear what you asking. But, sure if you have full screen application open in one monitor. Fences on the other monitor without application on full screen on it, you should be able to see Fences on it and click on any icons on it. But if you have any windows in-front of it. You can not get to your desktop and fences, without moving or minimize to taskbar those windows.

I believe you can always create two short cut icons on a desktop and create two fences with slightly different name and put each shortcut on two different fences and put one of each fences on each monitor. As for portal fences, you can create two portal fences pointing to a same folder and move it one on each monitor.

Thank you,
