Start10 Slow to startup

For some reason if I don't use start10 for a while it might take 10-20 seconds before start10 will pop up. Any idea how to fix. Thanks

By startup you mean the menu takes a while to open?

Do you have a very slow hard drive and a lot of installed apps under all programs?

Yeah, for the menu to open. No, I'm running on an SSD. I do have a decent amount I guess but I don't think it should cause it to be the slow.
