Problem with 2 monitors.

I'm using Fences 3.0.3 on Windows 10 with 2 monitors,

My screen layout is [ Monitor 2 ] [ Monitor 1 ], Monitor 1 is my main screen,

but when I create or download files, the new file position always go to Monitor 2,

how can I change the default position to Monitor 1, or disable desktop on Monitor 2?

I'm having this exact same issue and I have 3 monitors. I have turned off fences completely and the issue goes away.

This seems to be an issue specifically with fences, I am using a insider preview. I normally do the slow and slightly more stable previews but this problem has been happening for long before I changed over to insider.

I tested it again, I created a new account on my computer had fences off / uninstalled. All new icons from downloaded files go the my primary monitor. Soon as I install fences, all new files / icons appear at the top left of my far left monitor. I have changed the monitors around in the display settings but the file always appears at the top left of any screen. If I decide to have the primary as the far left monitor, it acts like it normally should but my primary is always in the center screen.

Thanks

Have you upgraded to 3.0.4?

Are you still seeing this behavior?

Similar problems here also with two new identical monitors and a new workstation. It is sad and frustrating that a person cannot seem to get even minimal technical response concerning a product they have purchased. The company has wonderful and inventive ideas.....too bad that the "support" process seems to be last on the list of importance. I will probably be banned for even hinting that I have a problem with the software.

 Reverse but similar problem.

Now using Fences 3.0.4.12 on Win 7 64 bit dual monitors. Primary monitor 1 on right of monitor 2 and using "extended" desktop.

Previous versions of Fences placed downloads in open space on Monitor 2. This version places downloads UNDER Fences on the monitor 1.

Downloads were visible before but not now unless I shorten and move the covering fence to the right.

I would like downloads back on monitor 2.

Problem now SOLVED:

I created a new Fence named "Downloads" on monitor 2.

Select the "hamburger" and under "Organize" there is a new selection "New Downloads go to this Fence"

This program works great with a simple setup, but do something wild and crazy like adding a second monitor and it all goes wacko.  I have not created any pages and did not even enable the feature.  But now my desktop with all my icons is on monitor 2 and I can't get it to move back.  The help provided with the program is rudimentary and basically useless.  I am ready to remove the whole damn thing.  They add all these fancy features when what they should add is a real support system.
