Fences not running even thought it is when I click on it from the Start Menu (Win 10 Pro)

I'm running Win 10 pro on a laptop  with a Samsung EVO SSD.

Fences 3.03  wont run (I'd just upgraded from 2.13) - it appears to run and create fences but then drops out and asks me to re-install Fences . I have reinstalled Fences and it makes no difference.

Is this an issue with SSD speed and that I need to 'slow down' Fences  starting?

I've seen something similar mentioned on these forums but responses were 3 years old/

Go the following link, login with your Stardock info, and submit a ticket.
