Portal I created does not allow me option to remove it?

Hi guys!

I'm a new Fences user and love it so far.  However.....

I created a practice Portal to a file on my hard drive.  It created, worked fine, and I deleted it forthwith in preparation to create one to another file I work with.  However, this one was on my external drive instead of my internal.  So I then created the Portal to a master file on my external hard drive (D:). I dragged it to the middle of my desktop because I was planning to move it and/or delete it anyway.

This portal works - sort of - but I've decided I don't want the portal after all and I would rather access the file the old-fashioned way for now.  Thing is, it won't go away!

I tried putting my mouse over the Fence but no "x" option to delete it popped up.  There's no "menu" option on the bar (the triple lines in the top left corner) either - and as a matter of fact, there's now no menu option on ANY of my Fences even though there were prior to the creation of this portal.  And the Portal won't let me drag it around the desktop either. (ETA:  I can't drag ANY of my other Fences around the desktop now either!)

Some of my Fences are roll-up - and so I thought well, maybe if I change the Portal to roll-up too it would allow me to delete it?  So I did that. Nope, it still gives me no option to delete it by any direction the Fences help menu suggests.

So what else can I try?

(btw - I'm on Fences 3.0.3, Windows 10)

Update:

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and not even THAT fixed the issue.  All it did was reset my desktop to what it was before the uninstall.  And I STILL can't move any of my Fences around the desktop or get rid of the Portal.

What's more - now the desktop icon that Fences itself creates for its options menu?  That's not on my desktop at all, in any of my Fences.....and it was before the uninstall.

I can't create any new Fences either by drawing a rectangle on the desktop or rename any of my Fences.

Basically, everything is frozen.

HELP.

(ETA: I was looking around on the forums and someone mentioned "locking fences" and I followed up on it (they suggested right clicking and checking if "Lock Fences" was clicked) and it was - so it looks like everything but the new icon issue is fixed!

right click on the desktop and under View see if lock fences is checked
