Several thousand years ago, the ancestor of Chinese people began to play a kind of mysterious instrument. It’s mysterious because this instrument was often played during religion fete and to communicate with gods. This instrument is called Guqin the earliest string instrument of China. Acording to historical records, at that time,a emperor named Shun could bring peace and prosperity to his country by playing Guqin and singing the song of South Wind. I don’t know how he make it or it’s just a story but we can see that Guqin is an unusual instrument.

In 1970s，A piece of Guqin music named Flowing water was included in a golden record carried by NASA’s Voyegers sending to the outerspace. Guqin represents Chinese music.

In 2003，the art of Guqin was selected in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the UNESECO.

In 2008, the Olimpic Games was hold in Beijing, Guqin was shown on the opening ceremony which attracted the world’s attention.

What I am doing is making this instrument more popular and more interesting
