Double click Fence titlebar to roll up - How to make this work?

I'm trying to set my Fences so that at the very least they stay open until I close them

I thought that was what the "Double click Fence titlebar to roll up" option was for in the "Roll-up Fences" Options

I've tried many different combination and it still doesn't work that way

Ultimately what I would like is to click on them to open AND close.

anyone know how to do this?

Your requirement to open and close panels is probably best achieved by double-clicking the title bar.  This toggles between auto-rollup and staying open.

With auto-rollup active you only need to hover the mouse over a title bar to make it expand, which is my preferred behavior for most panels.
