Disable move animation for desktop icons?

It's driving me nuts

Is there a way to disable the move animation for desktop icons when Fences is active? I'd much rather have the default Windows-style instant snapping instead. I will do a registry hack anything to stop the move animation when dragging icons around. Help?

Me too! I just got Fences and can't believe that it won't let me place icons (icons that aren't in fences) where I want to place them.

Oops ... all that happened was that when I installed Fences, it changed the right-click "view" setting to "auto-arrange icons". Easy enough to change back. Thanks.
