Cant restore snap shot after updating Nvidia graphics driver.

I saw that some people had this issue back in 2014-2015. I wasn't sure if I should bump that thread or not. Basically just as the title states, when ever I update my Nvidia drivers I cannot restore any of the snapshots and have to reset everything manually. Doesn't matter if I take a new one right before updating or not. None of them will restore. Here is the old thread if this will help. https://forums.stardock.com/459753

On 11/17, this article appeared in gHacks... http://www.ghacks.net/2016/11/17/nvidia-375-86-driver-issues/

I think you should un-install your current driver and then install the prior one.

I don't know if this will give you back your snapshots, but at least you'll not have a buggy driver on your machine...

This happens after every update. Not just the latest one. But thanks for the heads up. If I notice any issues I'll be sure to roll back the driver version

This is a recurring annoyance.  Every time the nvidia drivers get updated the Fences panels all move to the center monitor.

Snapshot restore does not put them back to previous positions.

Has anybody logged a bug report regarding snapshot/restore on multiple monitors?

I notice the size tooltip thing still displays on the wrong monitor when resizing a panel also.

Using Fences 3.0.3 on windows 10 64bit, GeForce GTX 660 Ti with latest drivers - currently 375.95, and 3 monitors.

I have the same problem. Not recovered snapshots (at any time, but not during the nvidia driver update).

Thus, certain icons themselves are moved from the program on the desktop panels (up to 15% of the move icon).

It is really annoying to re-distribute them on the panels.

I want to chime in since this is why I am here, Since day one any time I update my Nvidia drivers all the fences cram onto the main center monitor and NO the driver is NOT the problem. Found that solution from DrJBHL to a very shallow and uneducated solution!

The snapshot is a total joke and has only worked once in all the years I have used Fences. I have been complaining about this (along with others) for years and nothing is ever done to fix it. I have come to conclude that Fences is just a half baked idea and very little though ever went into creating it. Now seeing this thread it is clear this will never be fixed and it is to bad and really does not do Stardock any favors. So I guess rather than complain about it let me just say, thanks for taking my money and giving me such a crap software solution Stardock!

Cause and effect...

Update drivers and snapshot has issues.

Don't  update drivers and snapshot doesn't  have issues....
