HI, I'm using the latest windowblinds beta and have noticed that the taskbar buttons no longer pulsate. I did a complete reinstall of windows 10 for other reasons and reinstalled windowblinds and still the buttons do not pulstate. Have I misconfigured something?
In the default windows 10 theme in certain program when u receive a new msg etc the taskbar button would flash or pulsate. it would flash when ur not focused on the program to let u know u have a new msg or if windows popped up a msg it would flash the taskbar button. They used to do the same in windowblinds but have noticed it has stopped. My brother windowblinds still does it but he is on an old version. it would work with all themes. I'm just wondering if theres something changed or I have a conflicting program or something.
seems to be updated in the anniversary updates as well for modern apps.let me guess.they wont pulsate or some icons disappear on you completely not showing the icon.
seems windowblinds needs a new update as this recently has happened to me in both anniversary and the newer rs2 builds.
when I unload windowblinds tho everythings fine,so its definitely some windows change that's conflicting with windowblinds now

the hidden red spot is where FaceBook is.if that clarifies one of the issues with modern app icons in taskbar and windowblinds

that's the latest beta 10.4.7
happens with all skins until I unload windowblinds and go to default windows.latest windows insider build,although this started happening on anniversary as well after the latest cumulative updates

see with windowblinds unloaded it works fine.
ive even checked unchecked options on windowblinds to no avail.

windowblinds 10.0.7 or whatever (nonbeta) version works flawless.
ive been reading and people are having other issues specifically with this new beta.
I think the betas just borked.ill use 10.0.0.7 until you can work out the kinks.no worries.betas aren't posed to be perfect,but I have faith
I use a messenger program, if I'm not focused on the program and get a new message then the taskbar button for that program with flash/pulsate. Also if windows sends an error msg or something the taskbar button for that msg would flash/ pulsate. Work fine on the default windows theme and used to work on all other themes. But for some reason doesn't now. Icons have been ok for me. just the flashing/pulsating is helpful in knowing u got a new msg etc.
well i only really use facebook and messenger so i cant really say if its all apps but seems to only affect Modern Apps.
as for the pulsating/notifications i do know what you mean.again i think thats along the same lines as whats wrong in the beta.
i dont think that ever worked for 10.0.0.7 though hence why if you go back you wont see it there.my guess,just a guess is the new beta worked on giving the pulsating feature/the notification and its glitching due to this new feature.
it seemed to only dissappear for me when there was a new notification for facebook/messenger so i may not be too far off on this theory.
just give stardock some time.they usually can get down to the bottom of it.they are mostly immortal but they are also human like us and alot of errors can come into play.be patient and we will eventually see the holy grail once more
