Did you reboot in between uninstalling the last one and installing the new one?

Chrome should work fine with it.  What OS are you and what version of Chrome is it showing?

Yes, I did reboot. I followed all the protocals exactly as I should. I'm using Win7 x64   / Chrome ver. ???   whatever the latest version is because I just downloaded and installed it to try and get it working again

Edit: I installed the latest version of Chrome while the WB Beta was still installed and Chrome failed to initialize. Browser wouldn't open and only gave me an audible error tone everytime I attempted to open Chrome.

OK , I tried it again.....latest version of Chrome installed. No WindowBlinds installed. Works fine. Installed new WB Beta.....same problem...Chrome will not open, only gives an error tone. Uninstalled Beta and installed WB ver. 10.4.5 version no problems , Chrome works fine. Of course I would have liked to have had the ver. 10.4.6 to re-install but it seems that that version has been scrubbed from my Stardock downloads option.

What OS are you using and how are they distorted exactly?  If Windows 8/10 are you using Start8/10 and what DPI is your computer set to?

Old betas are never shown on the download pages.

We are investigating your issue as it is working just fine here on Windows 10, but it could be a problem specific to Windows 7.

Not only does this new beta screw up Chrome, it also causes Visual C++ problems, two pop-up messages that you cannot close no matter what. Also, it totally screwed up WB fonts on the start menu on skins, and screwed up the side frames in Skype.

I also did everything correctly. Went back to the previous beta now and everything is fine.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit

Not even going to try this new beta on 8..1 or 10.

Betas are the worst (but they are also sort of fun in a sick sort of way)

A number of the changes in this build are for mixed DPI.

If you are having issues, we need to know your OS and version (Win-key+R, type winver, select OK), how many monitors, what DPI they are at.

Thanks!

My "old" problem sill persists in this version since after v 10.07. Windowpositions is not remembered. I'm using Shellfolderfix, which remembers windowspositions.

When i disable WB, windowpositions are remembered correctly. Same for both usual windows as for the metro apps positions.

Same problem with v 10.45 and 10.46 as 10.47. Last version that worked just fine is v10.07.

Doesn't matter which skin i use, it effects all skins, even WB's own that comes with WB.

Have tried all different settings and combinations within WB and Shellfolderfix.

Have uninstalled, rebooted, purged leftoverfiles and in registry, installed latest v 10.47 several times.

I use windows 10 (Version 1607 Build 14393.321), 64 bit. Yes, I use start 10 latest beta. DPI is 100 or 125 %. it is the same. Start buttons are somehow folded in. See spring skin by pixelpirate but many skins with the start button outside the frame of taskbar get this.

If you enable the option in WB10 to hide the ribbon and log out / in again does it then work?

I have done that, and it works a bit better in windows. But the metroapps is still the same it doesn't remember positions.

What's this about, why is it like this in these latest versions?

It is there now - all is good.

There is a new beta up that will resolve the issues with Chrom on Win7 and the oversize start buttons.

It's best to uninstall, reboot, and install to make sure all files are removed.

So you are saying download the same beta ZubaZ? It's been modified?

Why did they not change it to like 10.47a or something?

Someone please try this version on Win 8.1. The other 2 versions of beta didn't work so well. I had to go back to 10.07.
