What am I buying?

What does it mean that I'm buying a subscription?!

Hello Everybody,

First, I just want to say how difficult it is to find the information I need on this website.

And secondly, it's made even harder by all the hoops you have to jump through to get through to support.

I tried calling them directly, which by the way is a funny answering machine, but it frankly provides zero support for a private person customer.

Anyway, I'm interested in the software and want to purchase it, but I backed off at the last step.

Apparently, I'm buying a subscription that has to be renewed every year to have the software working. At least that's how I understood it.

Which means I have to cash out $50 every year for the privilege of a license. Is that correctly understood?

Or, does it mean to say that I only get the newest updates to the point of my last day of subscription and won't receive any afterwards, but I'll still be able to use my software.

Can somebody please clarify this for me!

kind regards,

kahyt

When you purchase an Object Desktop membership you get all updates and any new apps while you are an active member.

If you choose not to renew you still can keep and use  your apps, but you will not receive the updates. You will need to backup your files before your membership ends so you can continue to use and install them again if needed.

The list of apps you get with Object Desktop is here:
