Diognostics for Windows 10

I'm just asking for the hotkey to bring up the menu in case my computer won't start. I tried googling it. They will talk about it, but won't tell me how to do it for 10.

Not sure I understand what you're looking for...

If you're looking for "godmode" in W10, do this:

Enable God Mode in Windows 10

  1. Make sure your system account has administrative privileges
  2. Right-click on the Windows 10 desktop and choose New > Folder
  3. Name the folder: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and hit enter/return to make it stick.

Or, are you asking about this:

Don't know if that is what this person is looking for Doc. But thanks as I forgot about Godmode for win 10 so it helped me. I just can't remember like I use to.

I think Doc has it in his links......Sounds like he wants to know what key his computer uses for boot menu, or bios, etc.

It varies by brand, or by motherboard.

My Asus PC, home built, will bring up the bios by pressing delete key during boot.  F8 brings up my boot menu.

Look on Google for the key that works for your motherboard, if it's a self built, or if it's a store bought OEM machine, google the key needed for you PC model.

Ok whats god mode. I'm not asking for rom bios, or boot menu. What I'm asking for is when my computer crashes. I would like to fix it, or maybe go into safe mode. In windows 7 it was f7. What is it in windows 10. No bios or boot options, but options to fix your computer like fix your pc, and other options.

Thanks Hankers for some reason f4 doesn't seem to work to get my diagnostics.

Nice link Hank. Thanks.

I also got to say thanks to Dr.jbl. To bad my f4 doesn't work for this though. You at least reminded me to turn on my restore points. Silly argument for not automatically having system restoreon when 1 terabyte hard drive are common.
