I am afraid WindowBlinds cannot run off a flash drive.

It requires installation on a computer (and activation)

You aren't going to save 'memory' by putting any program on a USB ....;)

i beg to differ. i have many icon files i use to change my desktop icons -over 1GB's worth. as well as some portable browsers. and even GIMP portable..less lag in system this way. but when if i get wb, i will add directly to my pc -avoiding any conflict that might arise

You can differ all you wish, however you will still be wrong.

Unless of course you confuse RAM with HardDrive storage.

Not to mention the reality that everything required by the Windows Shell needs to be read into memory from the HD [or USB as is your wont] location making the latter prolong the process unnecessarily.

Not to mention that it is simply not recommended to make a program portable that deals with / links into the system so deeply and autostarts with the system. You will get all sorts of problems out of it. And it won't spare any RAM. Portable is useful for tools You fire up during work and close after use.
