Freighters

I am building them one place but want their home planet to be something else.

I have sent them to that planet and relaunched them before and after a turn. The freighters home planet did not change.

Could this be fixed and/or list in the ships details its home planet.

It also makes me afraid to use constructors I get from ideology /anomalies/trade fir precursor research too

You can use them normally (build new starbase/shipyard or upgrade starbase),

since they dont need a starting planet

Sponsor the shipyard (distance doesn't matter in this case) with the planet you want the freighters to originate from.
