Change Active Title Bar color or transparency

I am attempting to make the active window more visible. I like the transparency of the title bars, but I am having serious difficulty differentiating the active window from others.  I go to change system colors, change the active title bar color, apply, but nothing changes.

You will have to go into SkinStudio and change the (per pixel) Frames "caption" image of that particular skin...

-They are made up of 2 images, the Top one is for Active. :cylon:

If you expect some answers please state your OS. Guess you have Windowblinds and skinstudio. What skin are you trying to modify or should I say what skin would you like to modify? Some things in win10 can't be changed. What you are asking for help on if it can be done would have to be done using skinstudio. Changing the colors won't stop the transparency.

End of neone6's quote

OK I was writing when the above was posted. neone6 is correct. I was just trying to get a bit more info.

Sorry for the big screenshot.

please allow me to step in here, being a newbie.

@neone6

Many thanks!!

that item was what I was looking for.

I'd like to make some other changes to my copy of Precision (MyPrecision)

succeeded to change the dark color, but would like to make some other changes.

1) thickness and colour of window border

2. change color of the bar below the title bar

3. make the sliders a little darker so they are better visible.

thanks!

#1. Also the per pixel frames. Left, right, and bottom. you would have to make an entire new frame with wider borders. What you can do which is fine with me is. My Leather WB has wider borders. You can download it and redo the images to the color you want. Remember as mentioned. All 4 locations the images are doubled. There is only one image for each but that image has 2 images in it. If you do try this you may have to use the Code I have each one set to which is in the Leather skin correct location area. (code editor). this if if they don't line up for you correctly.

#2. There are two images that change not sure which one you want to change. The one right below the search area is. Edit Toolbar Controls/Rebar Control/background. The one below that is: Edit Explorer/IE shell parts/Command bar/background. NOTE: There is also an image around the search area you may want to change. That is also in the Edit Explorer/IE shell parts/Glassy Areas/Top glass area. This image is also used in the Edit Per Pixel frames section/Top glass area.

#3. Edit Controls/ Edit Scrollbars

NOTE: There is a basic tutorial that was made a few years ago. I don't have the link.

neone6 I believe has the link. If he sees this maybe he will provide it to you as long as he does have it. This may provide you with additional areas you wish to change.

I'll to explain a little further.

Have 'MyPrecision' (copy of Precision and adjusted title bar color) put next to my current Windows Explorer replacement in 1 screenshot.
Basically three things I would like to adjust, or better, as a newbie, give it a TRY to adjust.
Maybe I am lucky, maybe not

BTW I don't want -wider- borders, instead, they should be (very) thin. It is a matter of taste, obviously, but the 'default' skin, has the nicest borders.
For me all those black and thick, and dark stuff, well, I don't know, I think they are disturbing. But again, I rush to say... it is a matter of taste!

Everything you want to do would have to be done inside SkinStudio 10 wullfra.

I know, I am talking about SkinStudio 10, but out of the trillion elements, I just wanted to know which one to select.
Also I discovered that the "Precision" skin seems to have a black font for the desktop icons. I want them to be white, same as the defaults so to say.
