Windows 10 Compatibility

I've been a subscriber since 2004 and I wish more of the programs were compatible with Windows 10.

I pay for the use of all the programs, I feel I should be able to use them with my current OS. I am not able to use over half the programs offered with Windows 10.

I'm not sure if I will subscribe next year if this trend continues.

Which products are you wanting to see on Windows 10?

I understand your lament, but they can only do what the OS will permit them to work around.  The 'other half' of the apps work fine on Win7 & some on Win8, so I'm glad to have the suite for the apps that work on my OS, even though I have no use for the apps which work only in Win10.  I have no doubt SD are working to get as many of the apps compatible with Win10 as possible.  Ultimately, it's a value decision on your part.  Hopefully, you'll understand that some of the apps developed for earlier OS's, which remain a part of OD, may never be compatible with Win10 due entirely to OS design decisions taken by MS (or may be superfluous in Win10) and as clever as SD has been in developing enhancement software for Windows, they can't (always) do the impossible.

I'd like to see an Icon Packager that was compatible with Windows 10, to which I've recently upgraded.  It's really annoying me to have to use default icons again.  (Guess I'd gotten spoiled.)  I was also disappointed that DeskScapes had to be uninstalled.

DeskScapes 8.5 works with Win10

Here is a complete list of Win10 compatible software: https://forums.stardock.com/469435/page/1/

ObjectDock isn't in that list, yet I have no problems with it on Windows 10.

ObjectDock works by luck, not design.  It is not "supported" right now on Win10.

Thanks for all your comments.

What I would like to see is Icon Packager working for one, logon studio was nice.

IconX and Desktop X to name 3.

I will more than likely renew though. I really enjoy the software the company produces.

DesktopX has been sunsetted. No longer an option.

However, it works fine on Windows 10. I always have UAC turned off though. It is Useless Annoying Crap.

I believe IconX likewise has been sunsetted.  Last worked on XP.
