DesktopX Un-Installation

Perhaps I missed an answer to this in another thread..
Why doesn't the uninstall function of DesktopX work. It will never find the INSTALL.LOG file. Now call me strange, but I really don't kindle to the idea of manually deleting programs, lest the evil blue screen of death rear its ugly fangs upon me

, and when i see a new version of a fine OD component, I must have it (shameless plug

). Things always seem to go best if you uninstall the old before installing the new. So... is there a correct answer to my question..

Well, I have never uninstalled DX. I always just install the newer versions over the top of the old one and I have never had a problem yet.

I uninstalled DX on purpose cause I didn't like it. It uninstalled just fine. I unistalled it from the control panel. Then I installed StyleXP.

ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

I've uninstalled DesktopX before, before I had ODNT anyway and it worked without a hitch. Otherwise I have always updated programs by installing over the original, unless explicitedly mentioned to uninstall.
