WindowBlinds doesn't like me very much... Win7, Win8.1, Win10, wah wah wah , no dice...

So I tried WB awhile back on w10 and immediately learned about uxtheme patcher and got distracted with visual styles, but it's aggravating constantly changing it so I bought WB not long ago. When I tried it before I noticed sections of the taskbar disappearing (always starting with the action center button) which at the time I figured it was jus the old pc struggling with w10. Well now I have good hardware and running almost every win version from xp through w10 and tried it on various setups on w7 trough w10 on vmachines, different phys installs, multiple times on the same ones ..all kinds of stuff. I thought it was cuz I had patched before but reinstalled several clean and same thing, all start missing taskbar sections and one win7 install had to be restored after that frosty frozen white screen of horror. I know it works fine for many others and is great software, but i can catch a break. Wtf am I missing here lol? Hopefully I'll find something thqt cooperates but any help would be awesome and I humbly admit I could be missing somwthing obvious right in front of me. My main setup is W10 (1511) and WB 10 the latest version completely legit. Thanks Stardock, you make some killer toys, I just have bad luck:-P

You might be best submitting a ticket to support@stardock.com, detailing your system specs, OS and WB versions.  Also copy and paste the WB info in 'About' on the lefthand side of the WB program.... and link to this post so support can sync the two.

I think you should contact Support as well.

Your machine has had a lot done to it...various software, OSs, etc. and it's rather hard to understand if you're writing about one machine or several...

Your problem might just be your "uxpatcher". It screws up Windowblinds (which unlike uxpatcher doesn't alter Windows System files).

If you haven't done so already, uninstall the uxpatcher, and do an "sfc /scannow" as the Administrator. You can find out more about it here: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-run-system-file-checker-analyze-its-logs-in-windows-7-vista

Thanks for the replies, Its between an older laptop that I first tried it on momentarily and my newer one which is an HP (Pavilion) Hp 17-g121 wm (yes the Wal-Mart one) and I haven't actually done much to It, all still stock w10 1511. The other OS are in VMware machines but I've completely reset the stock system a couple of times so I was sure to have clean results and the machines are all very clean solid setups that I,ve had no other issues with. I at least wanted to post here first and see if anyone else had any similar problems and a possible solution before I went bothering SD, I'm sure they are busy enough but I guess thats the way I gotta go. I know it works just fine for others and SD makes really good stuff so I wouldn't doubt it's something I'm doing wrong or right in front of my face .. Thanks anyway
