Fences 2.0 stopped working

Not able to delete/move created fences

Hi,

I was using Fences 2.1 for quite sometime (more than 2 years) and found it to be very useful to manage the many items on my desktop (win 8.1).  Few weeks ago the application has stopped working and I can't move/re-size/delete fences on my desktop.  I have attempted to remove it and reinstall it without any success.

Any idea or direction to address such a wired issue?

It is very possible you have locked the desktop.

Right-click on an empty part of the desktop and select "View".  Uncheck the lock option

i don't have any locking option under view.  Only icon size and display Icons.  Icon size is Small and display icons is "on".
