Sounds For CursorFX Won't Change

Need Guidance

I haven't made a support ticket yet but I have searched the forums for this and found nothing. I reinstalled windows 7 and all Stardock programs. I had no problems until I tried using the sounds associated with mouse clicks on Cursorfx. I changed the right click up & down buttons to make a sound. I decided I didn't like it and tried to go back to no sounds, it won't change. I've uninstalled  cursorfx 2.16.0 and reinstalled 3 times. I installed cursorfx 2.11.0 a couple of times and had no luck. Rebooting does no good and a system restore would take me back to a time where I will have to reinstall some dozen or more programs. I just want to turn the mouse click sounds off and I promise to never ever mess with it again.

Support ticket may be your best option.  I don't recall a similar situation coming up in the forums.

OK Thanks, will do.

Open Control Panel Hardware and  Sounds. Select Change system sounds. From there, select the sounds tab and from the drop down, select no sounds (or some other scheme) and hit apply.

You can also try this: Go to  %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Stardock\CursorFX and delete what is there. Then apply the default or another cursor.
