Roll-up fence not working on double click

Enabled RollUp does not seem to work as described in Fences 3.0 even though enabled in the settings.

I suspected this has to do with a popular file manager called Directory Opus which has an option to double-click on the desktop to open the current (new) lister/window.

Double-clicking the title bar does just that rather than roll-up the fence.

Are these going to be mutually exclusive features (clash) ?

Roll-up does seem to work through the VIEW menu though.

I have that feature disabled in Directory Opus and Fences works as expected.

The view option is the alternative (as you discovered)

Doesn't work in mine either.  double click on title bar just auto hides fences globally.

i dont have roll up option on any right click choices.

What version of Fences are you using?

I can confirm this bug. And I do not have Directory Opus installed.

The feature worked as expected with Fences 3.0.0. Now with Version 3.0.1 it is broken.

When double-clicking directly on the title bar of a fence nothing happens. If I double-click anywhere else on the desktop all fences are hidden, like expected.

Please don't laugh....... ok laugh if you must, but I was thinking that the "title bar" was the bar at the bottom of your screen, the one where the start menu comes from.

I thought, how kool..double clicking that bar, can roll up all the fences I have, altogether!

Is that even possible to make happen on the next version?

Same here.  v3.0.1.  Double click on the title of a fence edits the name.  Double click on title bar or anywhere else activates global hide.

I have encountered a problem where a Folder Portal with Roll-Up activated suddenly refuses to roll-up. The only way I have found to fix it is to re-create the Folder Portal and turn Roll-Up on again.

I'm using Windows 7 Professional and Fences 3.0.1.

I am running deskscapes 8.51 and fences 3. i jsut installed deskscapes 8 and now all the icons in my roll-up fences still appear on the desktop even when they are supposed to be rolled up. This causes unexpected behaviour with icons that are not in fences and the icons that should be hidden show up but are not selectable. How do I fix this? Is there a compatibility issue between these apps?

We've seen one other report of what you are describing but we didn't see it in internal testing.

What version of Fences?

Have you rebooted since installing the two apps?

Have you applied a dream?  What kind (static wallpapaer, dynamiic, video, hybrid)?

What OS?

How many monitors?

It might be best if you replied in a support case so we can monitor it: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit

3.0.3

no, will test with that

no

win 7

2, though desktop is only on the one side of the screen.

Will report back after reboot.

When playing around in windows theme settings it fixed itself when i would select on of those themes, including my custom selection from deskscapes, but it was no longer random images.

When put back the deskscape selection through deskscape ocnfiguration it returned.

EDIT: can confirm that restart fixed the problem. Maybe make this issue an FAQ? There was no prompt to restart when i installed deskscapes.
