I don't see that you have purchased or activated Fences 3 with the email associated with this account.
If you want to use the trial, try rebooting and see if you are prompted to enter a serial or activate the trial.
well i did buy it and install it
it shows in my order history
but not in "My Download"
maybe my error was that i did not uninstall Fences 2 first?
i deleted and reinstalled twice but i do not get promted for serial, even deleted folder
it is running but i have no way to get into settings
You should not need to uninstall Fences 2 but it may not be a bad idea to try.
Also, go to C:\ProgramData\Stardock\ and delete Fences 2 and Fences 3 directories. (you may have to copy and paste that path into Windows Explorer as it may be hidden)
Then, try to install Fences 3 again.
I am in the same boat with this one - I had a fences 2 installation which was working as intended.
I am running the latest Windows 10 Preview build 14342.
I installed Fences 3, and was not prompted for my product key.
Now after rebooting, my fences are visible, but I cannot open Fences 3, either from the Start menu, or via 'right-click, Configure Fences'.
I then subsequently reinstalled, and then reinstalled again after deleting the Stardock folders in Roaming, local, ProgramData, and the registry - this did not fix the issue.
The problem seems to be with Activation - my fences_debug_info.txt file has several lines which contain "ACTIVATION PROBLEM - unable to read SAS License file"
Finally, I would like to try the 3.01 beta, but as I have not been able to activate my Fences 3 installation, it is not available to me in my downloads section.

Upgraded from Fences 2 to Fences 3 - Can see the purchase in my account, but not under "My Software" tab.
Fences Configuration will not run. Have now tried at least 4 times to get it working.

If anyone having this issue can create a support case at https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit and send in the txt file located at %localappdata%\Stardock\Fences3 That might help us track this down.
If you are comfortable with the Windows registry, adding a key and activating again provides more detail in the log
Here's an easy way to add it via an elevated command prompt: reg add HKCU\Software\Stardock\Settings\ /v LogLevel /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

I too have this issue - Fences 3.01 installed (after de-installing Fences 2.0 and restarting Windows) but not yet prompted to activate. Fences is running but right-clicking the desktop (or a fence) and selecting 'Customize Fences' does nothing. And I can't create a new fence either - the dialog just doesn't appear.

after deinstalling and deleting all reg keys i got also promt to download 3.01 ...
creating new fence does also not work for me
I've not applied that update yet. I'm on Window 10 Pro Insider Preview 14332.

What a fucking joke cant even uninstall your garbage application, this is unnerving
What happens when you try to uninstall Fences? What version does the application say? Did you upgrade over a previous version or was this a clean install?
Really glad Im not the only one having this problem. Bought fences 3.0 last night and installed it over 2.0. Same issues, doesnt show in my downloads as a purchase but have the receipts.
The biggest problem when right clicking desktop and hitting configure fences nothing comes up. Going to the the file exe itself and nothing happens. Tried reinstalling, tried cleaning out registry and my appdata folders but nothing same issue. When trying to revert back to fences 2.0 I get a blank screen when the fences configuration comes up. So now Ive got two fence products that dont work. Not happy. Yes Ive already sent in a support ticket but no answer.
Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Yes same account. Other users have also just mentioned this in this same posting. Could this be the problem?
Never during installation of Fences 3.0 was I asked to enter a serial key or register it. The fact its not in my account may have something to do with my problem as well as others here.
Noticed Ive the same issue as everybody above. Debug file shows.

The fact that the product is not showing in any of our My product listings should lead you to believe the problem is on the stardock licensing side. Again like others was never prompted for serial number or went through registration no matter how many reboots or reinstalls. Are you licensing servers working correctly?
My firewall is open to the product, shutting off my firewall does nothing. Obviously Ive got internet access.
I think that just means product not activated which no doubt is because the prompt for activation is not opening up.
You are the only person reporting this that is not on Windows 10 Insider builds though which is interesting. Please do contact support via that link provided so support can obtain more information to track down whats going on.
Have you guys at Stardock installed Fences 3.01 on an Insider build to track what's causing the problem with activation and opening the program?
If there are modifications to your code required do you have an ETA on when a new version will be pushed out?
