Request: longer campaigns and longer games

I've been playing the game just for a few hours, and I find it absolutely fascinating. One of the best games of the last few years. Congratulations!

I've played a campaign, and discovered that it just lasts for 7 weeks. I would like to request a longer campaign mode (e.g. 20 weeks), where you can decide between a short-term, cheaper option, or long-term, more expensive options that will pay off much better in the long run.

Right now, as an example, I can hire a specialist for one week and pay 100k, or hire him forever and pay 500k.

Reality is that I will be able to use him only 7 times - and not all times he will be useful.

There is very little incentive to hire these people forever. Instead, if you have a campaign that lasts, say, 15 turns, hiring him for 500k (or perhaps 750k) would make it much more sense. Also, certain buildings, e.g. Offworld market, don't make much sense in a 7 day game.

It would be interesting to be able to make for slightly longer games (e.g. 8 or 9 days).

End of quote

A longer campaign will get more and more imbalanced, especially if the player wins most scenario rewards.
Currently this is not an option IMO.

I think the decision offered is valid. What do you do with the limited starting budget?
- Get a huge boost for one game, to win the reward and a decent longterm income?
- Get a smaller, permanent increase of capabilities? Not every engineer is available each week!
- mix strategies, buy some boosts and save up for a special longterm improvements?

Offworld market depends on price differences. Gives some income boost, but nothing like the 800k for food I saw in scenarios.
Nice for last week, when you buy out the competition. On the plus side prices are more stable.
You might also buy or win some random perk, like double speed shipments... Or a free market at HQ4 ...
I'd say for a regular week you can invest your money better.
Hackers might be more flexible, but market is one of several valid options. It is just not the endgame building here.
