I managed today's daily challenge by Sol 10, feeling pretty proud of myself.
The top score is Sol 2. The strategy from the replay was this:
Found last. Take some random tiles on the other side of the map. Buy the computer stock. Win on Sol 2, HQ level 1.
This seems a bit degenerate? Can the AI be tweaked to avoid this sort of thing?
I assume you missed the part of the replay where the player magically gave himself a few hundred thousand dollars and used that to win 
Not much to be done to combat cheating like that.
That said, degenerate strategies that are heavily reliant on debt and early stock buys were dominant not too long ago. There were a series of AI tweaks recently that have made it much harder to be successful with that. The Sol 4 wins from today's daily are a bit more representative of the types of strategies that players might use to win quickly.
Oh. I feel pretty silly missing that!
It's a shame people can cheat like that. Oh well.
