Start menu not skinning

Just bought WB10 a couple of days ago and have been trying to figure out why the task bar skins but not the start menu (I have the standard Windows 10 start menu with no icons and no start 10 installed). Any ideas?

You have to buy Start 10 in order to skin the start menu with WB10.

The start menu in Windows 10 doesn't allow skinning. Using Start10 with WindowBlinds 10 can give that ability.

If you like the default Windows 10 start menu you but want it to more closely match the color of your Windowblind skin you can go to personalization in the control panel and change the system color from automatic to whatever color you want to match your Windowblind skin.

If you like and use the live tiles on the star menu I would suggest just going that route as Start10 doesn't seem to support using the start menu skin included with the Windowblind yet if you use the Windows10 style start menu.  If you don't mind losing the live tiles on your start menu though  Start10 has options to use the Windowblind skin in the modern style. Not sure if that works in the Windows 7 style too as I haven't tried that one, but I would assume it does.

The above is some additional information.

If you want another option which I use sometimes you can do this.

If you like the look of Windowblind10 and Start10 you can use the Start10 menu when you want to access your favorite apps and tiles. Click on the start button and on the left side at the top it will say "Window 10 menu" Just click on it and it will open. Now you have the original win10 menu with all the tiles and whatever you have or add to it. This can actually keep your taskbar cleaner looking without a lot of pinned apps on it.

You can also access the win10 menu if you hold down "Ctrl" key and click Startmenu.
