Triangles on Chrome Browser

Triangles on Chrome Browser in WindowBlinds 10

Hi There,

Once I installed WindowBlinds 10 on my Windows 10 Operating System I started getting Black Triangles over the content in the Chrome Browser.

Removing WindowBlinds 10 cured the problem. I am using Insider Preview 14295 at present which is the latest version. Is this a bug in WindowBlinds 10 - Can someone help?

I've had the same problem, black triangles and such. There's an easy fix that will allow you to use WindowBlinds. Open your browser, go to settings, that's on the upper right corner. Once open scroll down and click on show more settings. Find the one that says use hardware acceleration and uncheck the box. Close your browser then re-open it. This was posted on another thread but I couldn't find it but, I did remember the fix. Hope this helps.

Which version of Google Chrome are you using and what version of WindowBlinds exactly?  The beta version of WindowBlinds caused this, but the release version should have resolved it.

If you had the beta before, try uninstalling WB, rebooting and then installing the latest version.

I fixed mine on W10. Using WB10.0.4, Chrome version is 4.0.2623.87

The one I posted about happened on 8.1 using WB8.13 with the same Chrome version. I doubt WB had anything to do with it. I probably should have mentioned that in my post.

I had the same problem after I updated chrome, Black triangles all over the browser.  I experimented by first reinstalling chrome, no different, uninstalling WB10 no difference, I then uninstalled Deskscapes, reinstalled WB followed by Deskscapes, this fixed the problem and has been OK since.
