Licencing question

Downloaded this and love it.  (My only criticism as of now is that unless you use this for hours a day, the 2 day trial is too short.  It would have been nice to use it for a week or so to get the feel for it.)

My question however is about licencing.  Does the licence key we purchase tied to the OPERATING system or the COMPUTER?  :S

My ASUS PC had major issues with the NVidia drivers Windows 10 forces it to use. As such, I was forced into a DUAL boot operating system.

Half my work is on the Windows 8.1 partition, the other on the Windows 10 partition.

Do I need two licences for this to use SpaceMonger on this PC or will they be cool with counting this as one PC for licencing purposes?  (I can provide any proof or log file that would prove the hardware within each operating system is the same.)

Thanks for any insight.

One week without a single response from anyone who knows anything.  Doesn't the admin or Stardock have any moderators who look at these forums?  Time wasted waiting allows me the luxury of looking at other options.  They could be loosing a sale here!  :annoyed:

Do they not want my money?   (for the record, I also emailed them and to date have not received anything back.)

Sorry your post was missed. You should be fine with your license.

You can see the licensing here: https://www.stardock.com/support/software_eula.aspx

Use on a personal computer:

  1. An Individual User may:

    1. Install, use and activate one (1) copy of the Software on up to five (5) unique personal computers simultaneously that are owned by you for your personal use.

      1. For Software acquired from Stardock via an automatic recurring payment subscription method you may install, use and activate the Software on up to five (5) unique personal computers simultaneously for as long as your subscription remains active.

Thanks for the post and clarification.  I'm testing SpaceSniffer and WinDirStat currently.  I'll see if I can install SpaceMonger, but I think my trial (Which is WAY to short BTW) may be expired.

Based on the eula, I'm betting I can't install this on my Windows 10 partition as the email I gave is all use up for the trial.  :'(
