Multiplicity (3.41 build 00078) + Uplay = kaboom

Any hope of a fix, or potentially poking UbiSoft to fix their stuff regarding Multiplicity and Ubisoft Uplay client (https://uplay.ubi.com - their Steam-wannabe).

Right now as soon as mouse leaves the main PC screen, Uplay client crashes hard. This has been so for quite a while now, and it is highly annoying...

Thanks for reporting this.

I was able to reproduce this and have it resolved for the next update.

Good to hear. Can you give a rough estimate when I could expect to see the update to be published?

I can understand that estimating such a thing may be challenging, but I'm seeking a ballpark figure. Are we talking about "a few weeks", "a few months" or "6 months+"?

It's the end of April, and 3.41 is still the current version. Any idea when the next version will be out with the fix for this?

Yeah, I'm running version 3.42 Pro Build 00080 and still getting crashes when i start uplay. I can get it not to crash if I dont have seamless enabled and use KVM mode instead, but seamless is a really elegant and slick experience.. is there a workaround for this?

I am having the same problem with Multiplicity version 3.42 KVM Pro Build 00080 when using seamless mode.

It happens 100% of the time. If I turn off seamless then Uplay doesn't crash but 9 out of 10 times I forget to disable seamless and Uplay crashes the moment the mouse leaves the main system display and enters the remote display.

The only workaround I have found is have Uplay on the secondary system and not the main. This issue only happens when Uplay is on the primary system.

You need to update to MP 3.43
